Our farm is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including deer, black bears, wild turkeys, coyotes, raccoons, squirrels, and skunks. I recently put up a few trail cameras around the farm in an attempt to record the comings and goings of the local wildlife.
Back in November, my friends and I found somebody's trail camera on the backside of the pasture. I was a bit creeped out by the camera. It's always a little unnerving to find a hidden camera in your backyard. But the upside was that I was able to find some cool animal pictures on the memory card.
I'm still not quite sure to whom the camera belonged. I left it up for a while with a note asking that the owner gets in touch with me. I didn't get a response. I have since taken the camera down, but if you are the owner, get in touch with me and I'll be happy to return it.
Finding the trail camera and the awesome animal pictures contained within inspired me to put up a few cameras of my own. I placed three of them on the property last week. Hopefully, I'll have some good pictures to post up here and share with you in the near future.
